Projects

The Best of Season I features over two hours of the best segments from the first season of High Country Adventures. The DVD features an interactive menu that allows viewers to select individual segments, watch a twenty second video intro for each segment, view bonus trailers, or just push play and watch the entire video.

The video has been published in 720p hd, except for the fast-paced helmet cam segments that are 640 x 480 high-quality video. Expect to see super crisp, clear video that is above and beyond everything you've seen online thus far from High Country Adventures.

A portion of the proceeds will be given to the Carolina Climbers Coalition to help support their recent acquisition of the boulders at Rumbling Bald.

thcvideo.com ~ Season I

Our first six months of shooting garnered us praise from many of our closest friends for our effort in the outdoor sports scene around Boone.  We appreciate the enthusiastic response and are producing a dvd featuring most of the segments we shot and edited over that time.  Included on the dvd are our segments on rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain biking plus more random videos of kite flying, slacklining, and waves breaking on an empty beach that should be enough to make you turn off the t.v. and go outside.

Construction of the thcvideo.com Headquarters

This 5,700 square foot wood framed building features high quality millwork, extra large glass windows and a breathtaking tile lobby.  With fourteen video labs and the latest in high-tech equipment there should be no shortage of footage emerging from our studio in the coming year. Surrounded by slacklines, climbing walls and a bike park, this building has it all.

Slated for completion in March 2012.

Over the holiday I managed to get out and do some bouldering at a few cool locales that aren't exactly in the High Country.  Be on the lookout for new climbing segments from Rock Town, Little Rock City, the Pisgah National Forest as well as a feature on some great new areas that Mike Stam has been developing in the High Country.  Coming to a computer in front of you soon!
